It is the most distant European country but it looks like it doesn't belong to any continent. Iceland is known for its beautiful landscapes which seem to have been taken out from NASA's archives, since they somehow resemble a planet from outer space!
In his latest aerial mission, photographer Andrej Ermolaev managed to take photos of a surreal beauty, landscapes of various colour shades that could easily be part of an alien civilisation. The reason why these areas look like this way, is the volcanic ash that covers the soil.
